Again? The last time a major incident like this happened was just 17 days ago. Less than a month. [0] The root cause of this was the whole of Azure going down (Again): [1]
I wanted to start the month without GitHub experiencing some form of 'degraded performance' or worse. But then when I saw that Azure went down in another thread [1], I was hoping that GitHub would not be affected by this and this was all an April fools joke, and once again I was disappointed; right before the holidays, this happens.
Time to rewind the number of days since GitHub was down counter and to consider self-hosting once again, like I have always said from time [2] to time [3] and again [4].
