The more I see about how Jev works, the less interested I get. Jev would be cool as a local model for e.g. Home Assistant. Projects like this are at best misleading, this one also happens to be broken.

    Surprised by these takes.

Are people not getting that this (Jev) can do classification, programmatic branching, real time decision making (e.g. applicable to robotics) an order of magnitude faster and cheaper?

It seems almost like a smart switch statement.

“ Timing starts after initial page observation”

Isn’t this the part that takes most time?

I would be v excited if jev wasn’t a cloud model. Something that can run on consumer hardware at v fast speeds.

Deffo impressive work. Don’t want to bring them down. I just don’t like paying AI tax to gate keepers for each use.

Getting an error on the actual run demo button, no error on building.

I tried it just now. After you click 'Start Demo' you should drag the newly-created tab into its own window (so you can watch it). Then click the 'Run automatically' button.

When I did this it worked as described.

Cool. I saw the Jev demos yesterday, this was a cool implementation.

Do you need a Jev Api key to use it live?

Doesn't work
