They well aware across the industry a 2 yo Mac Mini and 3 year old iPhone are good enough for most now without an update for another 5 years
Just keep dealing themselves back in with data center deals they can wave in the face of Congress and be all "economy/your personal wealth vanishes implodes if you don't help us keep the sheep in their cloud pen".
Big compute is def useful for huge projects like in health and engineering
But it's trivial for us these days, that grew up using and configuring these systems to do things like distribute photo backups among family's gadgets without big tech middle
It's 100% the same old serfdom/feudal shit where a few hundred average typically stupid humans the world wouldn't actually miss call the shots because their name is on a piece of paper
Americans are fucking lazy chumps and deserve to get railed for it

I just connect the two machine to the same homegroup, share the relevant folder, start the copy, and then come back the next day!
Just another reason to migrate to Linux, Microsoft...
What's the Windows-to-Linux migration script?
The same as 30 years ago:
format c:
:-)
Normies have no migration path.
I'm sure this works fine when run in Microsoft offices (though I bet their actual IT don't do it).
So sick of pushing all our data to the cloud.
