I look for companies in fields other than wireless, software, or apps that Qualcomm will partner with or invest in with an eye towards being in businesses which will be gigantic in the next 10 or 20 years. My background is eclectic, including position determination including GPS, cell towers, and audio signals, RF channel, multi-antenna receivers, superconducting devices, submillimeter wavelength technologies, and devices using the ac Josephson effect.
