I'm Üstün Özgür, a hands-on software engineer with 15+ years building products and infrastructure for US startups. I'm based in Istanbul (UTC+3) and looking for a remote Senior / Staff / Principal role in backend, platform, full-stack or applied AI. Available immediately; EMEA working hours. Open to full-time employment or a long-term contract.

I built SellerCrowd from zero with Django and React, owning the application from database modeling to frontend, authentication and billing. It grew to more than 20,000 members. At Edge Delta, I built Go backend services on AWS, led the platform-wide Angular-to-React migration and built Stripe billing infrastructure. At Braid Health, I worked on healthcare software and enterprise integrations, including SSO for Walmart Health.

Most recently, through G2I, I built an internal AI knowledge assistant with tools connecting GitHub, Linear and company resources, and automated AWS infrastructure with Terraform to support SOC 2 Type II audit readiness.

Main stack: Python/Django, Go, TypeScript/Node.js, React/Next.js, PostgreSQL, AWS, Terraform and Kubernetes. Recent AI work uses Vercel AI SDK and LangGraph.
